Our Terms and Conditions
  1. The right of admission is reserved by Nanogirl Labs Limited (Nanogirl Labs), and the management of the ASB Waterfront Theatre (the Venue).

  2. Latecomers to the event will only be admitted at the discretion of Nanogirl Labs’ on-site management.  We’ll do our best to get you in, but will prioritise the quality of experience for the patrons already in the auditorium.

  3. Nanogirl Labs reserves the right to vary, substitute or withdraw advertised programmes, speakers, performers prices, venue and seating arrangements as necessary.

  4. Please beware ticket reseller site and scams.  They are the bane of live eventing – we cannot stand seeing our would-be customers unknowingly overpaying for tickets and not getting what they paid for.  Please understand that while we will always do our very best to create a delightful experience for you, we can only honour tickets purchased through Nanogirl Labs or an authorised ticket seller.  If in doubt, please contact us prior to purchase (NB purchases made at silverlinings.nz are perfectly safe!).

  5. Ticket purchases are non-refundable, other than as set out here-in or as required by law.

  6. We will be recording the event for future broadcast or telecast, and may – depending on the COVID-19 alert level at the time – be streaming the event live to remote audience members.  We will also have photographers and videographers present to capture the guest experience at the event.  By purchasing tickets or attending the event, ticketholders consent to Nanogirl Labs or third parties it appoints or approves photographing, filming and taping them while at the venue.  Nanogirl Labs or such third parties may broadcast, publish, license and use any photographs, film, recordings and images of ticketholders without compensation.  Nanogirl Labs, such third parties and anyone acquiring from them a right to use the material are not liable to a ticketholder in any way for its use.

  7. You are welcome to have your smartphone with you in the auditorium – the whole point of the event is to enable you to take away new ideas and learnings.  By recording content on your phone (audio, slides, photographs, video etc), however, you agree to respect the intellectual property of the speakers.  You are welcome to capture content to help you remember their presentations, but agree that those recordings are for your sole personal use only.  You may not use flash at any time.

  8. Mobile phones and all other electrical devices must be silenced within the venue’s auditorium.  If you need to take a call, or use your device in any other way which may disrupt other patrons’ experience of the event, please step outside to the foyer space or VIP lounge (depending on your ticket level).

  9. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all, Patrons who disrupt a performance, or who are in use or possession of a prohibited object (see below) may be asked to leave the venue without refund of ticket purchase.

  10. Your event lanyard, given to you at time of arrival, is your key to the venue and a critical part of our event security and safety protocols.  You must wear it throughout the day.  We want you to have an uninterrupted experience, but for the safety and wellbeing of all, we reserve the right to deny access to anyone not wearing a lanyard.

  11. If other conditions apply, they are displayed at the ASB Waterfront Theatre Box Office or on the event website.

  12. In the unlikely event that, despite our planning around the COVID-19 pandemic, a Force Majeure event prevents us from delivering the event either as scheduled or at a postponed date, Nanogirl Labs will not be obligated to provide a refund of ticket purchase prices.
